Darkness is the part people notice. Heat rejection is the part they feel.
Modern film blocks the infrared energy that actually heats the cabin. That is why we sort our films by IR rejection, not by shade.
Blocks the ultraviolet that cracks dashboards, fades upholstery and ages leather. It is why a filmed interior still looks new years later.
Less squinting into low sun, less headlight glare at night. On a commute into Atlanta that is real comfort, not cosmetics.
The most common misunderstanding in window film, and it costs people money.
Darkness is measured in VLT. Heat rejection is measured separately, in infrared rejection. A cheap dyed film at 5% VLT looks almost black and still lets the cabin cook; a ceramic film at 35% VLT looks far lighter and rejects far more heat.
Want a cooler car? Buy heat rejection. Want privacy? Buy shade. Choosing on looks alone is how people pay for a dark film that does nothing for temperature.
Two levels of 3M film, both ceramic, separated by how much infrared heat they reject. Each is available in a range of shades, so you choose the performance first and the darkness second.
The value pick for a daily driver in Georgia heat. Ceramic construction, real heat reduction, no signal interference.
The top of the 3M line. Maximum heat rejection at any shade, including shades light enough to stay well within legal limits.
Two films, priced by vehicle. These figures are a guide rather than a final quote, because glass area varies between models.
| Vehicle | 50% IR rejection | 97% IR rejection |
|---|---|---|
| Two front windows only | $160 | $245 |
| 2-door coupe | $335 | $525 |
| 4-door sedan | $355 | $535 |
| Single cab truck | $195 | $365 |
| Crew cab truck | $335 | $435 |
| Mid-size SUV | $355 | $535 |
| Full-size SUV | $385 | $550 |
Worth knowing: vehicles over ten years old may carry a small surcharge, and removal of old film is quoted separately.
Some cars sit outside the standard table. Large curved glass, steep rear windows and one-piece rear hatches take longer and demand more film, so they are priced individually rather than squeezed into a category.
| Vehicle | 50% IR rejection | 97% IR rejection |

| Tesla Model S | $745 | $845 |
| Dodge Charger | $825 | $925 |
| VW Golf GTI | $545 | $645 |
| Vehicle | 50% IR rejection | 97% IR rejection |
|---|---|---|
| Tesla Model 3 | $315 | $415 |

Driving something not on either list? Tell us the year, make and model and we will price it properly instead of guessing.
Every Tesla on the list above has a different glass layout. All Around covers the four side windows and the rear glass; the windshield is quoted separately.

Sedan
All Around covers both front windows, both rear windows and the one-piece rear glass. That rear window is large and steeply raked, which is why the Model 3 sits above a standard sedan.

SUV
Four side windows plus the rear glass. The windshield sweeps a long way back over the front seats, so a Full Windshield on an X takes more film and is priced higher than the rest.

SUV
Four side windows plus the rear glass, which is taller and more upright than the Model 3. Full Windshield costs the same here as on the sedans.

Sedan
The same four side windows and rear hatch glass, with slightly less area to cover than a Model 3, so it carries the lowest All Around price of the four.
Film is cut from a digital pattern for your exact make and model rather than trimmed by hand on the glass. That matters for two reasons. Nothing sharp goes near your window seals or defroster lines, and the edges follow the glass properly instead of leaving a gap you notice every time you look at it.
Curing takes a few days. You will see slight haze or small water pockets at first and they clear on their own. We ask you to leave the windows up for a couple of days while the adhesive sets.
Our facility is at 1692 Oak Street, Suite 130, Marietta, GA 30060, and we work on site across Alpharetta, Marietta, Johns Creek, Canton, Sandy Springs, Ball Ground, Roswell, Woodstock, Dallas, Brookhaven, Buckhead, East Cobb, Berkeley Lake, Stone Mountain, Cumming, Vinings and the surrounding North Atlanta areas.
Every panel is cut to pattern, cleaned twice, and set with heat so the film follows the curve of the glass instead of fighting it. Most cars are back with you the same day.
Most vehicles are a few hours. The work is in the preparation and the cutting, not the application, so a rushed job is usually a badly prepped one.
No. Older metallic films could interfere with signal, which is exactly why both films we install are ceramic rather than metallic.
Yes. Removal is quoted separately because old film varies enormously in how it comes off, especially when the adhesive has baked on for years.
Lifetime on film and labor. If the film fails, bubbles or discolours, it is replaced.
Yes, and that is exactly what Crystalline Black is for. It rejects the most heat of anything in the 3M line and comes in shades light enough to stay well within legal limits.
Tell us the vehicle and how you use it. If you park outside all day the recommendation is different from a car that lives in a garage, and we would rather ask than upsell.
